In 2010, Shetland hosted a ‘Hamefarin’ (homecoming), welcoming Shetlanders from all around the world back to their home islands.
A lecture by Captain George Sutherland and Mr Jim Dixon gives the history of the rise of the oil industry in Shetland, the impact on the community, and discusses the way forward for the Isles.
