A Kist of Emigrants - Available for Pre-order

A Kist of Emigrants - book cover The Shetland Times, publisher of A Kist of Emigrants, is delighted to announce that the book is now available to order pre-launch.  Commissioned by the Shetland Hamefarin 2010 organising committee to coincide with the event, the book is illustrated with many photos, poems and letters and contains over 100 unique stories of 1,000 Shetland emigrants.

All copies ordered online before the launch date will be signed by the author and will be dispatched on the day of launch.  

A Kist of Emigrants is due to be launched at a private reception on Monday 14 June.

There will be an opportunity to meet the author and have copies of the book signed at The Shetland Times Bookshop, Commercial Street, Lerwick on Saturday 19 June from 12noon to 2.00pm.
